The revv gallery
The challenge was to design a flexible space to exhibit about 20 cars and hold crowds of up to 200 people. The roofing system was to be a long span structure. A lavish site near Kaliyasot Dam, overlooking the lake was assigned to carry out the project.
The building takes its formal cues from the sleek curves and fluid dynamism of race cars, translating speed, motion and precision into architectural form. This sculptural language gives the gallery a sense of movement even at rest, allowing the structure to echo the objects it houses.
At the same time, the long-span roofing system enables an open and adaptable interior, ensuring clear sightlines, spatial flexibility and the capacity to host both exhibitions and events.
